Channels and reservoirs in sewing-machines.- To lubricate the parts below the cloth-plate of a sewing-machine as described in Specification 130,748, comprising the feeding-mechanism and feed-lifting mechanism, an oil reservoir 80 is supported below the plate 70 on a pair of delivery tubes 81, 82 connected to the bearings; of shafts 21, 48. Other tubes 85 conduct oil to the various parts to be lubricated. The reservoir and tubes are filled with wick which projects from the free ends. An oil-hole 88 in the plate 70 registers . with an opening in the cover of the reservoir 80.
